ALAN KIESINGER

       Alan Kiesinger has been coaching boy’s basketball for the last 9 years at various levels.  Coach Kiesinger got his start at Pittston Area School District as the 8th grade basketball coach from 1999 to 2004.  He then moved on to Seton Catholic high school as the Junior Varsity coach and lead assistant under Coach Joe Long for 2 seasons.  Coach Kiesinger was then hired as the Head Coach at Seton for the 2006/07 season.  His tenure at Seton was cut short due to the schools closing. He has since returned back to Pittston Area as the Junior Varsity coach and Coach Jim Blaskiewcz’s lead assistant. Coach Kiesinger is also the assistant director at Camp St. Andrew’s boy’s basketball camp.

       Alan is an Adapted Physical Education instructor for the Luzerne Intermediate Unit. He received his undergraduate degree at East Stroudsburg University, his teaching certification at Marywood University and his Masters degree at Wilkes University. In addition to basketball Alan was the Head Golf coach at Seton and coached Track and Field at Meyers High School and Pittston Area.
